Malte Siegert, Head of Environmental Policy at NABU Hamburg



Mr Malte Siegert is an expert in shipping emissions at NABU – Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V. - German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union, heading up the Environmental Policy Unit 

In 2003 Malte Siegert joined NABU, Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union, Germany’s biggest environmental NGO. Being responsible for environmental policy at the federal NABU office in Hamburg he mainly deals with national and international port related issues as well as infrastructural projects and spatial planning.


Within EU LIFE+ Project "Clean Air“ Malte Siegert ran the subproject "Clean Air in Ports".

Malte Siegert studied political science in Hamburg.
